Building a Foundation for Lifelong Learning

I’m the owner/director and teacher at The Meadow Preschool; a child centered, mostly outdoor, play based preschool developed from my 27+ years experience in teaching infants, preschoolers, home school pods, and elementary school. My former infant care and preschools were awarded The QRIS Five Star Rating, indicating the highest level of quality. I incorporate expeditionary style learning, traditional handicrafts, fine arts, ASL, Brain Gym, several forms of physical disciplines along with academics to ensure each child is prepared for a healthy life of continued learning.

I”m also a mother, and former foster mom. I conduct adult workshops on childhood nutrition, child compliance, music and movement, reading strategies for the very young, and play. It is my goal to spread research based educational strategies to assist everyone (parents, family members, care givers, educators, anyone who works with children) in the care and education of the young in order to promote health, joy and a lifetime of discovery.
