Circle Time Learning

Circle Time Learning

Circle time is our way of signaling a slightly more formal, group play time. This is where the joy of collective learning shines.
Through guided stories, songs, games, experiments, crafts and discussions, children build their collective knowledge of the world and gain confidence in their abilities to function in it.

Storytime

Storytime is one of the most powerful ways we help preschoolers learn—sparking imagination, building language skills, and helping them make sense of the world around them. Children develop listening skills, expand their vocabulary, and strengthen their ability to express ideas. Stories also introduce important life lessons, emotional awareness, and problem-solving skills in a way that feels fun and engaging.

Multicultural Events

From Dia de los Muertos to Summer Solstice, tasting new foods, listening to world music and engaging in creative activities make cultural learning fun and meaningful. These special events woven into our curriculum not only broaden children’s perspectives but also teach respect, inclusion, and an appreciation for the rich variety of people and traditions around them. By exploring and celebrating different cultures, children develop curiosity, empathy, and a sense of belonging in our diverse world.

Yoga & Exercise

Movement isn’t just about staying active—it’s a key part of how young children learn and grow. Yoga and exercise in a play-based curriculum help children develop balance, coordination, and strength while also building focus, confidence, and emotional regulation. Simple stretches, playful poses, and active games encourage body awareness and mindfulness, giving kids tools to manage stress and express themselves. Plus, regular movement supports healthy brain development, making it easier for little ones to concentrate, problem-solve, and engage in creative play.
